You can use every public part of this site without signing up, signing in, or giving us any personal details.

Location

Finding deployments near you is optional. When you choose it, your browser asks for permission first and you can refuse. Your coordinates are used in your browser to sort results by distance and are not sent to us or stored on our servers. We never keep a permanent record of your precise location.

Community reports

If you submit a report, we store what you type: the location text, force, approximate time, any link, and your description. Please do not include personal details about yourself or anyone else. Reports go to a private moderation queue and are never published automatically.

Analytics

We do not run analytics or tracking without your consent. If analytics are ever introduced, they will be off by default and only enabled if you opt in.

Data retention

• Location coordinates: never stored — held in your browser for the current session only.
• Rejected community reports: deleted within 90 days of moderation.
• Published deployment records: kept as a public historical record, since they are drawn from information already published elsewhere.

Your data rights

UK data protection law gives you rights over personal data, including rights of access and erasure. Guidance is available from the Information Commissioner's Office.
